Made contact at start, raced 2 wide behind midfield, angled out 800M, moved closer after passing 650M, challenged the leader turning in, took the lead early in straight, kept on well to the line, won by a nose.

Bumped at the start. Near the 400 Metres was bumped. Over the concluding stages made slight contact with ROMANTIC FANTASY when that runner shifted out under pressure. Sent for sampling post-race.

Jumped well, raced better than midfield on the inside, saved ground on turn, finished off well but just lost out to the winner in a ding-dong finish.

Near the 400 Metres shifted out and made contact with JOYFUL PROSPERITY. D B McMonagle (CONSPIRACY WITNESS) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the first turn he allowed his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT, resulting in that runner striking the heels of CONSPIRACY WITNESS, blundering badly and losing its running. D B McMonagle was suspended from riding in races for one Hong Kong raceday to be conducted on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at Sha Tin. In addition, Jockey McMonagle was fined $55,000. In assessing penalty, the Stewards determined the carelessness grade 2 and the consequences grade 3 and also considered his excellent race riding record. <26/3/2026 Additional Veterinary Report> The Veterinary Surgeon reported that ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT was lame in its left front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly in the early stages. Lay out on the Home Turn. K Teetan stated that after settling back in the field he was satisfied with the horse’s finishing effort as it was disadvantaged by the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.

Slowly away, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 3 wide from 800M, 4 lengths back on turn, very wide into straight, finished off evenly.

D B McMonagle pleaded guilty to a careless riding charge for causing interference approaching the first turn (see ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT). Near the 550 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight between ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT and JOYFUL PROSPERITY which shifted in slightly when making a forward move. D B McMonagle stated that from a wide barrier and in a race where there appeared to be a lack of pace he was instructed to go forward. He added he could offer no explanation for the horse’s failure to finish the race off in the Home Straight.

Out with rest, raced 2 wide in midfield, 3 wide from 750M, 3 lengths or so back turning in, failed to close off in straight. (See Racing Incidents.)

M Chadwick stated that it was not his intention to settle as far forward as he did, however, he observed a position behind CONSPIRACY WITNESS in the early stages which he considered to be an advantageous position. He added whilst his mount travelled well throughout the event, when placed under pressure in the Home Straight, SUPER HONG KONG raced "flat” and did not finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped at the start. J Orman stated that after leading the event his mount gave ground in the Home Straight and he could offer no explanation for its failure to finish the race off. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Moderately away from the widest draw, raced towards rear on the outside, no cover for the majority of the race, peaked on turn, weakened early in straight.
