Clean jump, raced prominently, 2 wide, there to turn, hit the front 400M, kept on very well to the line, won comfortably.

Jumped only fairly. Despite being ridden along in the early stages did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. Approaching the 1200 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by KA YING POWER which shifted in. Near the 350 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced. A Atzeni was warned in relation to using his whip in a manner where the hand holding the whip was above shoulder height near the 250 Metres.

Bumped shortly after start, positioned 2 wide, 1 to 2 lengths back, there to turn, peaked early in straight, ran on evenly to the line. (Lame right front leg next day morning.)

Bumped shortly after the start. <22/12/2025 Additional Veterinary Report>The Veterinary Officer reported that DECRELOT was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, DECRELOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Began well from the widest draw, raced slightly better than midfield but trapped wide, 3 lengths or so back, there to turn, showed limited response early in straight, kept on same pace to the line. (See Racing Incidents.)

Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. J Orman stated that from the outside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer D J Hall confirmed the instructions and stated that he issued those instructions on the basis that with sheepskin cheek pieces being applied today he was of the opinion the horse would show more pace and it would be difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight from back in the field.

Bumped shortly after start, sent forward to take the lead, travelled well to turn, peaked and headed 400M, weakened final 150M.

In the early and middle stages raced keenly and for some distance near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid DECRELOT.

Bumped at start, raced towards rear on the inside, saved ground on turn, made no impression in straight.

Bumped at the start. Passing the 350 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of EURO ROCKS to continue into clear running. SMART ENGINEER then had some difficulty obtaining clear running for a short distance thereafter when racing tight between EURO ROCKS and GALE SAGA. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Bumped shortly after start, raced 2 wide slightly behind midfield, there to turn, made contact near 350M, unable to obtain clear run in straight.

Shortly after the start raced tight between DECRELOT and VERBIER, both of which shifted ground. Near the 350 Metres made contact with HE WAS ME when endeavouring to obtain clear running. Over the final 200 Metres did not obtain clear running when held up behind DECRELOT and SOMETHING JONAH.

Began awkwardly and made contact, raced behind midfield on the inside, saved ground throughout, showed limited response early in straight, weakened final furlong.

Jumped awkwardly and made contact with SMART ENGINEER. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Taken back from a wide draw, raced towards rear on the outside, 7 lengths back turning in, failed to make any progress in straight.

Taken back from gate 10, raced behind midfield on outer, bumped near 1200M, 5-1/2L back turning in, made no progress in straight. (See Racing Incidents.) (Blood in trachea.)

Shifted in approaching the 1200 Metres and was bumped. Raced keenly in the early stages. M L Yeung stated that after enjoying a reasonably good run with cover KA YING POWER did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, KA YING POWER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Slowly away, raced at tail throughout, never a factor.
