SNITZEL, the son of Australia famous sire REDOUTE'S CHOICE, was trained by Gerald Ryan with a record of 7 wins, 1 second and 3 thirds in 15 starts including G1 Oakleigh Plate with Craig Newitt on board. He performed his stud duties for a short period of time in Japan before stationed in Australia. He was welcomed by a lot of breeders since most of the same sire runners are precocious and he became an Australian champion sire in 2017 to 2020 with 175 runners had won the black type contests, including TRAPEZE ARTIST, multiple G1 winners who has just joined the stallion roster, and REDZEL, two-time champion of The Everest and another two-time G1 winner. SNITZEL has been passed away in June, 2025 at age 22. SONIC LINER was formerly known as SNITZ SONIC and trained by Jason Warren in Australia with 1 win, 1 second and 1 third in 4 starts. After 5 jump-outs, he made his 3YO debut over 1400M, settling in a rearward position along the inside rail early before finding clear room in the straight to rally for second at Sandown. In his next outing, he stepped up to 1600M that closing off strongly to register an easy maiden victory at Echuca. He subsequently finished seventh in a listed race before stepping up to 2000M Melbourne Classic to finish third at Caulfield. His dam PRESQUE ISLE is a daughter of the former Japanese Horse of the Year ZENNO ROB ROY, and won over 2000M on debut. Family members include EUCHEN GLEN, a winner up to 3200M, as well as MIKKI ISLE, the former Japanese Champion Sprinter. SONIC LINER should be most suited at 1600M or farther while soft going is fine.
