JIN SHENG

SNITZEL, the son of Australia famous sire REDOUTE'S CHOICE, was trained by Gerald Ryan with a record of 7 wins, 1 second and 3 thirds in 15 starts including G1 Oakleigh Plate with Craig Newitt on board. He performed his stud duties for a short period of time in Japan before stationed in Australia. He was welcomed by a lot of breeders since most of the same sire runners are precocious and he became an Australian champion sire in 2017 to 2020 with 175 runners had won the black type contests, including TRAPEZE ARTIST, multiple G1 winners who has just joined the stallion roster, and REDZEL, two-time champion of The Everest and another two-time G1 winner. SNITZEL has been passed away in June, 2025 at age 22.JIN SHENG was formerly known as CELTIC BRAVE that owned by Qatar Bloodstock and Widden Stud etc. in Australia who originally trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott. After trialing twice, he was transferred to Jack Bruce's stable in Queensland where he secured a win and a runner-up finish from two starts. On his debut Racecourse over 1100M, he tracked in third place along the way and chased hard in the straight to finish second at Ipswich. On his next outing, he led all the way to win after shifting out to the center of the track in the home straight in a 1200M at Doomben. His dam BONNY O’REILLY won eight sprint races during her racing career and has produced successful progeny with most excelling over sprint races while his half-sister CIARON’S STAR has placed in group race this year. The bay gelding should be most suited from 1200M to 1600M. Being a grandson of O’REILLY, he should be fine at Happy Valley and on problem on soft going.
