EXCEEDANCE was owned by Vinery Stud and trained by Michael, Wayne & John Hawkes with 3 wins and 3 thirds in 9 starts, winning distance at 1100M and 1200M. He won on his debut in a 2YO race by releasing a strong dash, then landed G3 San Domenico Stakes where he denied BIVOUAC with Tommy Berry on board and finished 3rd in G2 Run To The Rose and G1 Golden Rose Stakes that behind BIVOUAC and YES YES YES. The colt beat BIVOUAC and notched his first G1 in Ascot Vale Stakes (Coolmore Stud Stakes) under Dwayne Dunn afterwards. The son of EXCEED AND EXCEL retired from racing and joined the Vinery stallion roaster in 2020 with 6 black type contest winners. His fee in 2026 is AUD$ 22,000. SPLENDOR was trained by Kurt Goldman in Queensland, Australia and took part in 2 barrier trials where he led from pillar to post to win by a commanding 11Ls in an 1050M trial (8th May 2025) on soft going, then he was slightly slow away but mustered speed to join the forward flight, before accelerating again in the closing stages to chase home for third in a 1000M section (9th Sept 2025) on soft going. Second dam from SAVABEEL but recent members of this family have generally produced their best results at distances under a mile. SPLENDOR should be most suited from 1000M to 1400M and no issue on soft going.
