DARCI BRAHMA was a ten-time winner from 1200M to 1600M with five G1 titles. He started his stud life in New Zealand in 2007 and was six times champion sire in Singapore while there are some G1 winners among Australia and New Zealand as well. Most DARCI BRAHMA in HK are versatile including winner of G1 Centenary Sprint Cup D B PIN, dirt race specialist PICK NUMBER ONE, National Day Cup champion FULL OF BEAUTY and 2021 BMW Hong Kong Derby hero SKY DARCI. 60 runners of him celebrated the joy of black type contests successes. In 2023, The Oaks Stud announced that DARCI BRAHMA retired from stud duties. DOUBLE ALPHA was trained by Hamish Auret in New Zealand and led all the way to win an 850M barrier trial (21st Oct 2025) by 3.5Ls on soft going. Same sire runners in HK are highly versatile track ground preferences in Hong Kong. His dam COPIAPINO won at 1200M while his granddam ATACAMA, won over 1800M and achieved multiple top-three finishes in black-type races. He was found lame left fore in February. As a grandson of MEDAGLIA D’ORO, the bay gelding should be fine on dirt.
