MY WYNDFALL

WYNDSPELLE was trained by Donna Logan during his early racing career, then transferred to Johno Benner stable and Hollie Wynyard’s yard. He collected 4 wins, 10 seconds and 7 thirds in 40 starts, winning distance from 1200M to 2000M. He finished runner-up in five G1 races including Torndon Mile and the Tarzino Trophy where he landed his sole G1 victory in 1600M Captain Cook Stakes with Jason Waddell on board. WYNDSPELLE also traveled to Australia, where he was trained by Michael Kent and finished third in G1 Cantala Stakes. The son of IFFRAAJ stood at stud in New Zealand starting in 2020 before relocating to Australia in 2023 and has yet to produce any black-type stakes winners. WYNDSPELLE passed away in 2026 at Wyndholm Park Stud in Victoria following an accident after being startled by a kangaroo. MY WYNDFALL was trained by Johno Benner in New Zealand and took part in three barrier trials where he led all the way to win a 1000M synthetic trial (3rd Sept 2024) with sheepskin cheek pieces and led again to win a 1000M section (19th Nov 2024) on soft going. On his third trial over 1000M (3rd Dec 2024), he sat on-pace and ran on well to win without gear on good going. His dam FOXY BRAHMA is an unraced. He was found lame left hind and underwent a surgery to left hind hoof in last September. The chestnut gelding showed great early speed in the overseas trials that should be most suited mile or under in distance and no issue on dirt.
